BUYING PROCEDURES SUGAR

Joebeth Group of Companies represents 36 sugar factories located in Brazil. Our offices are located in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais.

 

GENERAL SALE PROCEDURE:

Buyer issues ICPO together with company registration.
Seller issues Full Corporate Offer (FCO) to Buyer. Buyer signs, seals and returns the FCO to Seller within 24 hours.
Seller issues Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) to Buyer. Buyer reviews signs and seals each page, and returns the SPA to Seller within 48 hours. Seller reviews, signs and seals the final contract and sends a copy to the Buyer. Both parties lodge the Final Contract to their respective banks.
Seller issues Proforma Invoice. All parties sign NCNDA/IMFPA.
Within 5 (five) business days, the Buyer’s bank issues MT799 to Seller’s bank with readiness to send SBLC-BG MT760 or DLC MT700. The Seller’s bank responds by issuing RWA to Buyer’s bank.
Within 10 (ten) business days, the Buyer’s bank sends to Seller’s bank a non-operative SBLC-BG MT760 or DLC MT700 which is irrevocable, transferable, auto-revolving, confirmed, unconditional, unrestricted and unencumbered. The Seller’s bank responds by issuing 2% Performance Bond Guarantee (PB) to Buyer’s bank which makes the MT760/MT700 operative.
Once the product is delivered at the Port before loading, SGS starts with the certification of quality and quantity of product (Buyer can witness the product loading and SGS at the Loading Port). Upon loading at Port, the Seller’s bank sends to Buyer’s bank a complete set of shipping documents. Within 5 (five) business days and after successful document verification, the Buyer’s bank issues full payment via TT MT103 to Seller’s bank.
Delivery starts as per Contract terms and conditions.
Seller’s bank pays all intermediaries by TT within 3 business days from receipt of Buyer’s payment as per signed and sealed NCNDA.
